The “Raadselwapens” project questions the basic principles of heraldry as a contemporary scripture to communicate current messages. Powerful and direct like emojis, logos, slogans and advertising messages. The layering and ambiguity of the heraldic theme establishes links between heritage and contemporary codes and reveals a rich history of ancient techniques and crafts.
