Streets and Stones is de eerste solo-expo met negen werken en installaties van Liesbet Bussche, een jonge Belgische conceptuele kunstenaar die de meervoudigheid en de contradictie niet schuwt.
Ze studeerde cinematografie, werkte enige tijd als tv-reporter, doorliep de opleiding juweelontwerp en bekwaamde zich in vaardigheden als electriciteit. Bussche streeft fundamenteel naar communicatie met het publiek en gaf daarom een publieke dimensie aan hoogst persoonlijke en intieme objecten als juwelen. Ze laat zich inspireren door vreemde mediaberichten, opmerkelijke biografieën en opvallende logo’s.
