"Gravital" is a NodeBox spin-off research project from the Sint Lucas Experimental Media Group (L. Nijs, F. De Bleser, T. De Smedt) in collaboration with the department of Computer Linguistics (Prof. W. Daelemans, V. Van Asch) at the University of Antwerp. Gravital is funded by IWT, the Institute for the Promotion of Innovation by Science and Technology in Flanders.

Gravital is an environment that links language to AI to design. Like NodeBox, you will be able to create visuals using simple Python code, but also using natural language (e.g. plain English) or a node-based interface. It will have built-in support for innovative and productive solutions like genetic algorithms and machine learning, data-mining, client-server architecture, social networks and version control, etc.
